Pixel Takeaway Limited builds and operates this event management system. It grew out of the day-to-day work of delivering training programmes, not from a product plan.
Our background
Since 2016 the system has been used for learner and delegate management across nationwide Skills Bootcamps and public training programmes, supporting over 6,000 attendees. It has been used by The School of UX, The UX Conference, the Department for Education and the Mayor of London.
Those programmes set the bar. They involve funded cohorts, reporting obligations, accessibility duties and attendees who need clear information rather than clever interfaces. Every part of the system has been through that test.
How we work
We keep the system simple on purpose. An organiser should be able to publish an event, open bookings and check people in without training. Anything that is only occasionally needed stays out of the way until it is.
We treat security, data protection and accessibility as part of the build rather than a review at the end. That is why ISO 27001 practices, UK GDPR obligations and WCAG 2.2 AA are described plainly on this site.
