Who we are

Pixel Takeaway Limited is the data controller for this website and the data controller or processor for events run on the system, depending on the arrangement with the organiser. Contact team@eventsbench.com with any question about your data.

What we collect

When you book a place we collect your name, email address, and optionally your job title, organisation, dietary requirements and accessibility requirements. We also record answers to any registration questions the organiser has added, your booking reference and your attendance.

Dietary and accessibility information is used only to make arrangements for you at the event, and is shared only with the people making those arrangements.

Why we use it

To administer your booking, send joining details and reminders, make the arrangements you have asked for, take payment where a ticket is paid, and report on attendance to the organiser and, where relevant, the programme funder.

We send marketing emails only where you have asked us to. You can withdraw that at any time without affecting your booking.

Where it is stored

Personal data is stored in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Access is limited by role and significant actions are logged.

How long we keep it

Booking and attendance records are kept for as long as the organiser or funder requires them for reporting and audit, and are then deleted. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to a particular use. Write to team@eventsbench.com and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to keep the site secure. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.
